Dr Griet Voet a guest on De Tafel van Gert to discuss the 3D skin scan

Dr Griet Voet was a guest on De Tafel van Gert, where she talked about the unique 3D skin scan that our clinic uses every day to help prevent skin cancer. During the conversation, she emphasised how this high-end technology is setting a new standard in the early detection of skin cancer.
The 3D skin scan captures the entire surface of the skin in a single quick image. Within seconds, a detailed overall picture is created in which every spot and every small change becomes visible. The system allows us to analyse the skin accurately and follow it up over time. Annual or periodic scans make it possible to notice changes much earlier, long before they can be seen with the naked eye.
The digital 3D model also serves as a reference point for future check-ups. This allows us to assess precisely whether a spot has changed, grown or remained completely stable.
Under the leadership of Dr Voet, Clinique Dermatologie Gent is the first location in Belgium where this advanced technology is used clinically for skin cancer screening and skin monitoring. It is part of our mission to always offer patients the most advanced and reliable forms of skin care.
