On social media, exosomes are the new buzzword in skin rejuvenation. In Het Nieuwsblad, Dr Griet Voet explains that they are tiny vesicles that cells secrete to communicate with one another. They carry proteins, lipids and genetic material and can thereby influence how other cells work.
