Warts
Persistent viral condition

Warts are benign skin growths caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). They are harmless but persistent and can spread, particularly on the hands, the feet (plantar warts) and the face. Targeted treatment speeds up recovery and limits further contamination.
Our doctors have all the modern techniques to remove warts efficiently and safely: freezing (cryotherapy) with liquid nitrogen, topical products that induce controlled blistering or medicinal therapy (topical or oral medication).
Molluscum contagiosum, also known as water warts, are small, shiny skin lesions caused by a different virus (poxvirus). They occur mainly in children, but can also appear in adults. Because molluscum spread easily and can often persist for a long time, it is advisable to remove them (curettage) for a faster and cleaner recovery.
For children, we also offer a special paediatric dermatology consultation, where we carry out treatments in a calm, child-friendly manner.
